1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the La Compra application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of the terms, do not use the application.
2. Description of Service
La Compra is a mobile application that allows users to scan product barcodes, access product information and reviews, create shopping lists, add private notes, and participate in a consumer community.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the application, you must sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities that occur under it.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.
4. Acceptable Use
When using La Compra, you agree to:
- Not publish false, misleading, offensive, or illegal content
- Not use the application for unauthorized commercial activities
- Not attempt to access other users' systems or data without authorization
- Not interfere with the proper functioning of the application
- Respect the rights of other community members
5. User-Generated Content
By posting reviews, notes, or other content on La Compra, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute such content in the context of the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and warrant that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
6. User Data Management
Account deletion request
To request account deletion, please contact gesteve.12@gmail.com stating your wish to have your account deleted. You must contact us from the same email address you used to register.
What gets deleted when you delete your account
- Deleted — all personal data (email address and name associated with Google)
- Kept — any reviews you have made, but they will become anonymous
- Deleted — all saved products
- Kept — notes for a maximum of 90 days, but they will become anonymous
Partial data deletion request
If you want to delete specific data without deleting your account, contact gesteve.12@gmail.com from the email address you registered with, indicating which data you want deleted.
Data you can choose to delete
- Product reviews
- Product notes
- Saved products
7. Intellectual Property
The La Compra application, its design, logos, code, and original content are protected by intellectual property rights. Reproduction or distribution without express authorization is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
La Compra is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the accuracy of product information provided by community users. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication. Continued use of the application after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
